tip for mini muffins without a pan!?!?
you know those paper cups for homeade muffins/cupcakes? well i got a bunch of the really teeny ones, but i dont have the special pan with the depressions for them. anyone have a thought about how i should put them instead?
i could stuff them all in a regular baking tray and just fill them up with batter like that, but i'm afraid they'll come out deformed.
maybe place the mini cupcakes in a deep baking dish, and pour uncooked rice inbetween them so they hold their shape. Uncooked rice, like dry beans are commonly used in baking pies to keep the pastry down- so why wouldnt this work? : )
