What do I cook on these BBQ surfaces?
I have a gas BBQ with 3 different cooking areas. A standard metal grill with lava rocks underneath, a marble/granite slab & a black iron ( I think) griddle. Whenever I cook on the black griddle food gets stuck to it & I've no idea what I'm supposed to cook on the marble slab. I didn't use it at all last year as I couldn't get to grips with it & if I don't use it this year it going!! Can anyone tell me why the food sticks despite being oiled & what to cook on the slab? Thank you.

Because you turn it over to quickly. Once the protein is set it wont stick anymore. On the slap you can cook delicate things like fish, prawns or vegetables. I like grilled asparagus, drizzled with a bit of Balsamico on it.Or red peppers..sliced onions or so.
