Why I Get A Small Size Laptop

Why you want to buy such a laptop? Ten years ago, my answer is for showing. But now, it's not that case. I have to say I am more practical for I am too old to be drizzled. In deed, there are various laptops in the market. Some are fashionable, some are practical, and some are beautiful, while others are ordinary. Which is for you? And what is the purpose that you buy it for?

When I was a young girl, I had a dream that I can travel around the world with a luggage and a computer. So the computer must be very portable and light. That is the main reason why I picked LP089WS1 TLA1 LCD screen, for It's 8.9 inches. To my disappointment, I didn't make my dream true completely. I knew that God uses me to something more importantly. But I am still on the way to my dream.

As to the weigh, I am interested in the light and small size laptops. And in the free market, there are 11-inch, 12-inch, 13-inch, 14-inch, 15-inch to 18-inche there. Obvious, screen size will directly affect the weight. To be honest, 12 inches or 13 inches are the quite good for girls on mobility.

However, the small size screen has its defects. It's not so comfortable to watch movies. Like 17 inches LP173WD1-TLA1 LCD screen, 15.4 inches HP DV6700 LCD screen, and 14-inch LTN141W1-L04 LCD screen are the big size samples. Males like big size computer for they don't worry about the weight. 2kg is a piece of cake for them to carry around. That is impossible for a lady. The keyboard is small as the small display. That is challenge for males to type freely.

In addition, the appearance is another important factor involving. Once you get the laptop, you spend much time looking at it. So the appearance is your favorite type and style. Otherwise, you will regret for your option. As to the appearance, don't take other's advice, for you are the owner of this computer. It's you who spend most of time in front of it.

Now I have a 14.1-inch LTN141W3-L01 LCD screen. I seldom take it outside with me. Instead, it provides good display effect when I have movie and videos.

What do you do if you're in a small sized boat, far from shore, in a severe thunderstorm?

Let's assume when you leave, the sky is blue etc...you;re 5 miles from shore and a freak-storm catches you by sursprise.

Assume this is a small 10-12 people boat, with no cabin, no nothing...no cover at all from rain or wind.

How do you keep SAFE from lightnng, wind, waves, rain and make it back ok?

What type of safety equipment MUST be on board?

If possible , head the boat directly into the wind or straight away from it , or at least quarter into it to keep from the waves swamping your boat- you will have to maintain power to do this. You can pray about the lightning. On your equipment it is law that states a personal flotation device be on board for everyone on the boat and a fire extinguisher be on board. If you are going to be 5 miles out, you need a compass and gps unit to get you back in with-also flares and a air horn in a can to be used to alert someone that you are in trouble- also a marine radio and cell phones to alert authorities. If you capsize, try to get everyone to stay with the capsized boat and hang on to it- it will be a lot easier for the rescue teams to find an entire boat, instead of several people scattered out , in which some may be found too late.
