Kick plates are an absolute necessity in most offices and retail stores, and even in some houses. Is it illegal to mount your front number plate at an angle?
Like, if i were to mount the number plate on top of the bonnet, or have it angled 30 degrees to the floor? It's still on the front of the car, just a slightly different angle.
Yes it is illegal.
Sec 6 (3a) of theThe Road Vehicles (Display of registration marks) Regulations 2001 states that front registration plates should be mounted vertically or as near to vertical as practicable.
