Anyone know a lot about aluminum cookware and Eco-satin finish?

I am looking to buy this pan by Technique. http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.item.K21629.desc.Technique-Cast-Aluminum-12-Square-Grill-Pan It's cast aluminum and has an eco-satin finish. There are two things I am trying to avoid. One is PTFE and PFOA nonstick coatings and also I don't want aluminum to leach into my food. Can you please tell me if this pan meets those 2 requirements? Thanks!!

I reviewed the pan your are thinking of buying, and I must inform you of this:
All coated or plain cookware [with the exception of plain glass cookware] will leach either chemicals or metal into the food being prepared not matter what.
It is a natural chemical reaction that occurs and cannot be prevented.
Now, if you were to practice the old school way of cooking and baking, you'd not have to fear the above.
Old school methods are to use cast iron, glass, and enamel coated cookware.
It is true that iron would leach into the food being cooked in it, but our bodies would readily accept and utilize the iron mineral and benefit by it.
Glass and glass enamel coated cookware do not leach anything into the food. We don't cook at temperatures that would allow this type of cookware to leach any impurities into the food.
That would have to be at about 700ºF to 800ºF for about 30 to 45 minutes, by then the food would be a crispy burnt fragment.
I have found that Cast Iron fry pans and dutch ovens are easy to care for, long lasting, and health friendly cooking vessels that when properly treated, are also non-stick and
seasoning non-coated cast iron cookware is a simple task.
You can usually find any type of pan in cast iron, or glass enamel coated cast iron.
You can find both these type of cookware at any department store like
K-Mart, Walmart, etc., or online.
