Beginner's Guide to Gas Powered RC Boats
There are various kinds of remote control boats that are sold in stores today and for first time hobbyists, you may find it extremely hard to choose what RC type to buy. There are actually two general types of remote control boats out there: the gas powered models and the electric models. Gas powered models run by gas while the electric RC's run by rechargeable batteries. For beginners, one of the best types to get are gas powered RC boats.
A gas boat is relatively large compared to the electronic ones. This is because the engine is bulkier and larger in size. Although this may seem as a disadvantage for some, having larger RC boats can look pretty head-turning and impressive as well. They are also much noisier to run compared to the electric RCs, giving them a more realistic effect than the latter.
One of the reasons why they are highly recommended for first timers is because they are the most common types available. RC powered boats can easily be purchased in any hobby or toy store so you will never have trouble in looking for your very first piece. But aside from that, gas powered RC boats are generally more affordable when it comes to maintenance compared to the other types of remote controlled boats out there. The engine per se may be a bit expensive yes, but maintaining electric RC boats can be a whole lot more pricey and you could end up spending more. Hence, this is a great choice for those who are starting with the hobby with a limited budget. Once you have gotten the hang of it, then perhaps, you can buy a more expensive and a more sophisticated model later on.
There are actually two kinds of gas boats. The first kind are the gasoline powered and the second kind are the nitrogen powered models. Between both, it is the gasoline powered engines that are considered more cost efficient. Compared to nitro-engines, gas powered RC boats are much cheaper to run. The fuel needed to power RC boats are a mixture of gasoline and oil, a much cheaper option compared to nitro fuel that needs to be matched with the kind of engine you are using. With the same amount of money, you can get several liters of RC gas from your nearby gasoline station and get so much less if you opt to buy the nitro fuel from your local hobby shop. Engine parts for gas powered RC boats come much cheaper as well. So if you do plan on upgrading the parts, you do not have to spend that much at all.
And last but not the least, in terms of speed; the newer gas powered models have their own thing to boast about as well. Yes, old gas powered RC boats may have always been left behind by the nitro powered models but the newer and upgraded gasoline engines are getting faster and faster today. So whether you are a beginner or a long time RC boat hobbyist, investing in a gas powered boat can never be wrong for you.

Any original reviews on the Kenmore Pro 36" Gas Range Model#30503?
I am debating whether or not I should get the cheaper 1 more burner Kenmore Pro or the more expensive 1 less burner Viking model #: DGRT3615BSS(or the 3605) gas range. Please help! What are your experiences with these products?
I'm a Viking fan, because I've worked in many restaurants with there appliances. Def chef quality, kenmore is a good brand too, but the problem I have with them is they make too many differ ant kinds of products like dishwashers and disposals.
The knobs on vikings are nice and solid too, which is good because every time you turn your range on you can feel the quality.
As far as BTU's go though, electrolux products are much better.
