MagicJack has messed up DVD burner?

I installed MagicJack (phone service) on my pc. When I went to Nero and burned a DVD (or so I thought) it said it was burned successfully. Tried to view it and the disk was empty, it never burned it.
I put in a commercial DVD and a CD and they worked fine but none of my burned movies are working. When I put in the DVD (burned) the drive says DVD and the drive letter but then changes rapidly to CD Drive and when I try to open it, it says F is not accessible (and something else, I don't remember) and cannot read the drive.
Now, I burned a DVD a couple of hours before installing MagicJack and it was fine. Is there a possibility of Nero and MJ conflicting and something from those two clobbered my burning tasks? I did a go-back but it didn't help. Thanks in advance.

I have seen several of these cases, and I would consult the MagicJack company, From what I see this can be fixed by backing up your data and re-installing windows, possibly another solution, but I could not find one.
