I'm not sure what your question is, but I own a couple of Benchmade knives and love them. Benchmade only makes quality knives that hold their value if handled correctly.

The one I carry everyday is half smooth/half serrated and is amazing. After years of use it opens and closes easily with one hand, and holds an edge forever. I work for a builder's supply company and my knife can cut the 1" high tensile rope in one swipe while the machine takes four or more passes to cut it and leaves the ends frayed.

The other Benchmade knife I have have is an AFTK with a titanium frame. I bought it for about $150, I haven't used it, and saw used ones selling on ebay for $170.

I don't think you can go wrong with a company like Benchmade.
